The summer is hot, but the RD department isparticularly enthusiastic. On June 26, the second "3D Design SkillsCompetition" was held as scheduled at the L&T RD Department. The RDdepartment creatively created the exam questions based on the application ofcreo software, the creativity of structural design, and the rationality ofengineering. 

At the event, ME Design engineers, MEengineers, and LCM ME engineers all received the examiner's exam email at thesame time, which set the standards, content, and exam materials for thisassessment. The engineers need to complete and submit it within the specifiedtime. As everyone knows, displays are our main business, and the matching ofdisplay parts is particularly crucial. The exam questions this time are alsoaround the clamping structure of the whole machine's back shell and LCM glueframe. Attention should be paid to the assembly matching, fixability, andreliability of the design.

Throughout the exam, the engineers werefully focused, and every step was filled with careful consideration of thestructure. In the face of the original blank questions, they worked hard torefine them like works of art. Based on the design specifications, they alsoconsidered the rationality of structural matching and thought about the stepsto simplify the drawings. It is worth mentioning that this exam also integratedthe common light transmission problems in display testing, which shows theimportance of RD for design. Engineers need to consider the shading schemeduring the design process, which is a great test of the innovative flexibilityof engineers' three-dimensional design. This can be achieved by adoptingshading schemes in the back cover or plastic frame.

During the tense assessment, engineerscompleted one after another. This test was not only a skill level assessment,but also a perfect interpretation of the improvement of engineers' innovationability and the practice of drawing familiarity. The 3D design competition wascompleted with the support of the company's union and the RD department. Thecompetition process showed the innovative craftsmanship and competitive spiritof RD ME, and engineers showed strong enthusiasm.
